Frederick Fox is supporting a Fintech company with their search for 2 Senior Software Engineers. These could be fully remote, with a preference given to candidates located in the Chicago Markets. Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, C#, backed by Azure Sql (Elastic Pool). RESTful orchestration layer / api (C#/Asp.Net), which communicates with the services via MassTransit and a RabbitMQ cluster, using MongoDB as event store. Nodejs and React for our frontend ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Design, develop and deliver solutions that meet business line and enterprise requirements•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build enterprise-grade application services, including designing and implementing API contracts•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in efforts to develop and refine functional and non-functional requirements•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in implementation of complex and cross-functional projects by providing innovative solutions in collaboration with the Architecture team•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work across teams and constantly look for opportunities to improve code quality and system performance•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for implementation of the approved architecture, identify potential pain points, and work across teams to address such issues•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Gain full understanding of the product (functional and technical)•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with the product, DevOps, Project Management, and Engineering team in building out product features•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create high quality unit tests and maintain minimum required coverage across all repositories ﻿&nbsp;QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5+ years of experience developing enterprise level systems on the .NET framework using C# (or similar languages)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience building systems for cloud platforms (Azure a plus)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio 2019 or Rider·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good understanding of enterprise architecture principals, patterns, and practices·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent understanding of SQL and relation database design, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Good understanding of a Message Broker such as RabbitMQ, CQRS, and messaging patterns·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 (a plus)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SCSS (a plus)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with React, Redux, Node, Webpack, or Babel (a plus)·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with startups·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience working in an Agile environment

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

· 5+ years of experience developing enterprise level
systems on the .NET framework using C# (or similar languages)
