Senior Accountant
*****************

This platform buys, builds, and holds multifamily and select
commercial assets through full market cycles. The books are not a
back-office afterthought—they are how investment, construction,
and asset decisions stay disciplined. As Senior Accountant, you
will own the numbers that sponsors, lenders, and operators rely
on, so capital is deployed with clarity and projects close clean.

----------------------
Performance Objectives
----------------------

* Close entity and project books on schedule, with
reconciliations that stand up to review without rework.
* Produce accurate monthly financials and variance commentary
that leadership can use to steer acquisitions, development, and
asset performance.
* Keep construction job-cost, draws, and capitalization aligned
to budgets so overruns surface early, not at completion.
* Control cash, intercompany, and investor-level activity so
funding, distributions, and debt covenants stay transparent.
* Deliver audit- and tax-ready packages that cut external
questions and protect reporting deadlines.
* Strengthen controls and process design so volume can grow
without sacrificing accuracy.

---------------------------
Environment & Resources
---------------------------

You will sit with a compact finance team inside an investment and
development organization that runs research, acquisition,
entitlement, construction, asset management, and disposition in
one system of accountability. You will report to the Controller,
partner daily with asset and project managers, and work in
established accounting and property systems with defined close
calendars—not ad hoc spreadsheets as the system of record.

------------------------
Essential Qualifications
------------------------

* Proven ownership of month-end close and financial statement
preparation for multi-entity real estate or a similarly complex
structure.
* Hands-on command of job-cost, capitalization, and construction
or development accounting.
* Experience supporting audits, tax workpapers, and lender or
investor reporting.
* Ability to explain variances and recommend fixes, not only post
entries.
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA or progress
toward it preferred.

-------------------
Role Selling Points
-------------------

* See the full investment cycle—from underwriting assumptions
through operations and exit—not a single silo.
* Work where basic disciplines (research, analysis, execution,
asset management) are the strategy, not a slogan.
* Influence how a growing portfolio is measured, not just
maintain last year’s close.
* Los Angeles base, with exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, and
select commercial assets.
