Interview Process:

Our process for a Co-Founder role will look like this just so you know how I operate.

1. Phone interview with me for about 15-30 minutes.

2. Video interview with Amiee Sullivan our COO

3. Video interview with Robert Davidoff, our Co-Founding Advisor and AI/Blockchain/Crypto/Programming genius

4. Fly them out to Fort Worth, TX for a final in-person interview, scheduled for breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on my availability.

The order of interviews with Amiee and Robert could change depending upon their availability.

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Own the technical vision, system architecture, and engineering roadmap. Lead product development, technical hiring, and the evolution of our fdraw management infrastructure from MVP to enterprise-grade lending operations platform.

Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve the technical architecture for scalability, security, and performance
Lead product development sprints and manage the engineering roadmap
Make build-vs-buy decisions and evaluate third-party integrations
Establish engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing, code review, and documentation
Recruit, mentor, and lead the engineering team as we scale
Collaborate with product and design to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience in FinTech, AI, PropTech, or Cybersecurity with 3+ years in a leadership role
Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
Experience building and scaling SaaS platforms with multi-tenant architecture
Strong understanding of database design, API architecture, and microservices
Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn) and integrating models into production systems
Experience with SOC 2 Type II compliance, security audits, and implementing controls (encryption at rest/in transit, RBAC, vulnerability management)
Knowledge of computer vision or document intelligence pipelines (OCR, fraud detection, image analysis)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning (SAST/DAST) and dependency auditing
Startup experience — comfortable shipping fast without sacrificing quality or compliance

Nice to Have

Experience with FedRAMP authorization or government compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, StateRAMP)
Domain knowledge in real estate lending, loan servicing, or construction draw management workflows
Track record of open-source contributions or maintainership of developer tools / libraries
Experience integrating with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Encompass, Byte, or LoanPro
Familiarity with real-time document fraud detection, lien search automation, or title verification systems
Prior experience as a technical co-founder or first engineering hire at a venture-backed startup
