We are in need of restarting our Estimator campaign with a twist. We would like to locate a full time estimator who lives near the Charleston area to do Install estimating from Charleston, SC to Savannah, GA. This will be a full time, experienced position.

Keys to match - they are willing to train the right individual so those with degrees in construction management, horticulture, etc. could be considered requirements below are prettty clear - Aspire, Landscape estimating and takeoffs all pluses

Process - 2 rounds - virtual if needed, branch visit if near branch location

Travel: Pending clarification

Key Responsibilities:

Review landscape plans, construction drawings, and project specifications
Perform quantity take-offs using estimating software and digital plan tools
Enter take-off data into Yardnique’s proposal and bidding systems
Assist senior estimators with project pricing and cost analysis
Organize and maintain accurate bid documents and project files
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain material pricing
Develop knowledge of landscape materials, installation methods, and construction sequencing
Support the preparation of accurate, competitive proposals aligned with company margin goals

Qualifications:

Required

Ability to read measurements and accurately scale construction plans
Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Strong work ethic and accountability
Interest in construction, landscaping, or the building trades
Basic math proficiency

Preferred

Experience reading construction or landscape drawings
Landscape, construction, or outdoor labor experience
Previous estimating or quantity take-off experience
Experience with Aspire software (strong plus)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

We are willing to train the right individual. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and improve.

Intake notes - wants someone looking for a long-term team play

3-6 months of ramp training period will train doesn't have the capacity to directly manage he's working to make the install division standalone estimating, engineering.

They will send a local rep for onsite work but the option but not a requirement.

Vision of the install division - their estimators for this team are hybrid selling plus we are selling to primary contractors and we are a sub. They don't need to close sales they will need to manage the relationships to get more estimating opportunities. Our team will estimate maintenance as well but typically we are sending that over to a BD in the market and we are focused on installs. For installs - Split is 50% commercial (multi-family, shopping) 20% land development (amenity spaces) 20% municial, 10% other

Company growing from 200 to 400 million and want install to be 15-20% of that next year aim is 50 million

Bonus potential - Quarterly incentive programs exist 10% of wages paid quarterly

DISC - administered prior to offer (not all managers)

1st - TEAMS and will be him and Will Tomlin typically, although for more exerienced estimators maybe just him

90-95 for a really experienced person but strongly prefers to be hiring jr right now
