Job Description

Senior Accountant - High Growth Advisory Firm

The Opportunity

Our client is a premier boutique advisory firm founded in 2014 that provides institutional-quality business solutions to high-growth companies. They specialize in developing efficient, cost-effective solutions in Accounting, Reporting, and Technology (the "Advisory ARTS"). Led by a team of Big Four CPAs, MBAs, and expert project managers, the firm is known for a "clock-building" approach, creating sustainable accounting infrastructures that withstand the test of time.

Why This Role is Different

This is not a standard "check-the-box" accounting job. You will be helping businesses strategize and optimize their financial reporting using resources that already exist within their current frameworks. This role offers direct exposure to various public and private companies, providing a level of variety and technical challenge rarely found in internal corporate roles.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Financial Management: Prepare comprehensive financials, journal entries, and detailed working papers for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
Real Estate & Construction Accounting: Manage internal accounting records specifically for commercial development properties and large-scale construction projects.
Process Optimization: Actively help improve accounting processes both internally and externally for a diverse client base.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Create and customize budgets, forecasts, and specialized ad-hoc reports tailored to client needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate directly on a daily basis with high-level clients, investors, tenants, and property managers.
Systems Integration: Lead accounting conversions from entry-level software into enterprise-level real estate ERP systems.

Candidate Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting, audit or tax experience.
Background: Proven track record in either private industry or public accounting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
Certification: CPA or close to CPA certification is rquired.

Strategic Mindset

The ideal candidate appreciates a "solutions-oriented" environment rather than just providing quick answers to satisfy immediate needs. You should be comfortable working with leadership that has deep expertise in establishing FP&A and technology departments across the country
