Senior Product Design Manager
Position Overview

● Ensure design decisions align with user needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility
Team Leadership & Execution
● Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-impact design team supporting both product roadmap and marketing initiatives
● Set a high bar for visual craft, usability, and consistency by remaining hands-on with complex features and workflows
● Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback that elevates both individual contributors and overall design quality
Design Practice & Systems
● Establish and evolve design systems, processes, and workflows that scale with organizational growth
● Create and maintain a unified visual language across product and brand experiences
● Define “how design works” across cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity, consistency, and efficiency
User Research & Executive Engagement
● Lead high-value customer discovery, research, and feedback sessions, including engagements with senior stakeholders
● Act as a trusted design partner, asking strategic questions and validating roadmap decisions through user insight
Data-Informed Iteration
● Use qualitative and quantitative data (analytics tools, customer feedback, industry benchmarks) to inform design decisions
● Measure success through user behavior, adoption, and business impact rather than assumptions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Partner closely with Product, Program Management, and Engineering to plan, scope, and deliver design work
● Balance design excellence with speed, knowing when to push for custom solutions versus leveraging existing components
● Support go-to-market efforts by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
Qualifications
●
7+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design, ideally within B2B SaaS environments
●
3+ years of people management experience, leading and mentoring designers
● Proven experience designing complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, or configurable/white-labeled products
● Strong systems-thinking mindset with experience building and maintaining design systems
● Advanced proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma)
● Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to both technical and executive audiences
● Ability to proactively identify product and platform opportunities supported by user and business data
● Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with varying levels of ambiguity
Bonus Qualifications
● Experience in healthtech or regulated industries
● Ability to connect design decisions to measurable business outcomes (revenue, retention, adoption, efficiency)
● Strong understanding of B2B buying versus user dynamics
● Proven collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
● Experience supporting marketing design initiatives, including websites, social media, and go-to-market assets
Compensation & Benefits
