Accounts Payable Specialist

Las Vegas, Nevada

On-Site | In-Office | Monday–Friday

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Family Office team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable across a diverse portfolio of entities while supporting strong internal controls, vendor relationships, and cash management processes. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and demonstrates discretion and professionalism in a family office environment.


What You Will Do

    ● Process accounts payable for a portfolio of entities, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payment
    ● Review and match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
    ● Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
    ● Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and payment terms
    ● Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger and support month-end close activities
    ● Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations as needed
    ● Support cash flow planning by tracking upcoming payables and payment schedules
    ● Assist with intercompany expense allocations and billings
    ● Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely, professional manner
    ● Maintain organized and compliant AP records in accordance with internal controls
    ● Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests from the accounting team


What You Bring to the Table

    ● 3+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally supporting multiple companies or business lines
    ● Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice coding, and payment workflows
    ● Experience assisting with month-end close and reconciliations
    ● Exposure to a family office environment or supporting high-net-worth individuals/clients is a plus
    ● Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
    ● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
    ● Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
    ● Team-oriented mindset — this is a collaborative, close-knit accounting team
    ● High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information
