Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually

An established and reputable residential property management organization is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a market-rate community in Hanover, MA. This role is ideal for a motivated property management professional who excels in operations, resident relations, vendor oversight, and team leadership. Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential apartment communities, including full operational oversight, resident engagement, maintenance coordination, budget management, and vendor relations. This individual should possess strong customer service instincts, the ability to build positive relationships, and the skill to lead and motivate onsite teams. A commitment to professional growth, operational excellence, and high service standards is essential.

Key Responsibilities

    ● Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and external partners.
    ● Provide effective leadership to onsite staff, promoting performance, accountability, and teamwork.
    ● Negotiate, coordinate, and manage service contracts related to property operations.
    ● Ensure timely completion and submission of operational, financial, and regulatory reports.
    ● Develop and execute marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy levels.
    ● Plan and support resident programs and community-building initiatives.
    ● Prepare, manage, and monitor operating and capital budgets.
    ● Oversee routine, preventative, and non-routine maintenance, ensuring timely scheduling and completion.
    ● Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
    ● Maintain a thorough understanding of Fair Housing laws and apply them consistently.
    ● Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
    ● Utilize property management software (Yardi or similar) and Microsoft Office programs.

Qualifications

    ● Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry certifications a plus.
    ● 3–5 years of property management experience.
    ● Affordable housing or 40B program experience is helpful but not required.
    ● Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising employees, contractors, and vendors.
    ● Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
    ● Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    ● Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
