Job Title: Senior Credit and Collections Analyst

Position Overview:

The Senior Credit and Collections Analyst plays a key role in managing the credit and collections function, ensuring the timely collection of accounts receivable, analyzing customer financial data, and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for evaluating credit risk, resolving payment issues, and supporting management with accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

    ● Manage the collection process for a portfolio of high-volume customer accounts.
    ● Review and release sales orders in accordance with company credit policies.
    ● Evaluate customer payment performance and financial status to determine appropriate credit limits.
    ● Investigate and resolve customer disputes, including warranty-related issues and billing discrepancies.
    ● Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely resolution of payment variances.
    ● Prepare and assist in the delivery of monthly accounts receivable and credit reports for management.
    ● Process and obtain approvals for customer refunds and credit balance adjustments.
    ● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in automated A/R and credit systems.
    ● Participate in industry credit association meetings and complete regular reporting requirements.
    ● Serve as a backup to the Credit Manager when needed.
    ● Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

    ● Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
    ● Minimum of five (5) years of experience in credit, collections, or an accounting environment.
    ● Proficiency in automated A/R and credit management systems.
    ● Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    ● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

    ● Experience in or knowledge of the aviation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
    ● Familiarity with NACM (National Association of Credit Management) reporting practices.
