Job Title: Paving Foreman

Overview:

A national heavy civil construction contractor is seeking experienced Paving Foremen to lead asphalt paving crews on projects across the United States. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role suited for individuals with strong team management skills and proven experience operating advanced paving equipment, particularly the Vögele Super 2100 or comparable models.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
● Operate and oversee the use of the Vögele Super 2100 asphalt paver and related paving equipment.
● Plan, coordinate, and execute daily activities, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
● Maintain open communication with project management and field operations leadership.
● Enforce safety standards and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operated.
● Track and evaluate crew attendance, productivity, and performance.
● Travel to project sites nationwide as required by project schedules.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience operating Vögele Super 2100 or similar paving equipment.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction drawings.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
● CDL Class A or B preferred (without automatic transmission restrictions).
● Physically able to work outdoors in demanding environments.
● English fluency required; bilingual skills preferred.
