The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join our high-growth technology services firm. This is a pure "hunter" role for a motivated professional who thrives on building a book of business from the ground up. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and selling a robust portfolio of managed IT services and hardware solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Proactively hunt for and acquire new clients and net-new business opportunities within a 2-hour radius of your home base.
● Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and relationship-building to proposal creation and presentation.
● Collaborate with a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects to design and deliver value-added technology solutions.
● Build deep, lasting relationships with B2B clients.
● Sell the full portfolio of services, including high-margin Managed Services, private cloud hosting, and hardware/software solutions from leading vendors (Dell, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
● Track all sales opportunities and manage your pipeline through CRM tools.
The Ideal Candidate:
● You are a true "hunter" with a proven track record of building a business from scratch and are not reliant on inbound leads.
● You possess a strong business acumen with a strategic, client-first mindset.
● You have a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing, new business development role.
● Experience in proactive sales environments such as Managed Services, VAR, Med Device, fleet management, or copier/printer sales is highly desirable.
● You are adaptable, appreciative, and motivated by a high-earning potential tied directly to your performance.

Please Note: This is not an account management or "farmer" role. Candidates whose experience is primarily managing an existing book of business or relying on company-provided leads will not be a fit.
Compensation & Earning Potential
We offer a compensation plan designed to reward top-performing hunters.

Base Salary: $40,000
●
First-Year Guarantee: $75,000 (includes a $35,000 non-recoverable draw)
●
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Successful AEs are expected to earn $200,000+ in years 2-3, with top performers having the potential to earn $500,000+.
●
Lucrative Commission: In addition to standard gross profit commissions, our high-margin managed services contracts include a bonus equal to the first month's contract value, plus a lifetime recurring commission.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Account Executive is a self-starter who builds a robust pipeline through their own prospecting efforts. You are expected to be closing deals and showing significant productivity by months 4-5. The most successful team members are those who build deep relationships, take full ownership of their success, and leverage our supportive, engineer-heavy team to deliver exceptional solutions to their clients.
