Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Neuromonitoring Sales Representative to drive sales of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) services for spine and brain procedures. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), effectively communicating the value of our neuromonitoring solutions to close deals and expand our market presence. This role requires medical knowledge, sales expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills to achieve revenue goals in a competitive healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and target surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs performing spine and brain procedures, using industry networks, referrals, and market research to build a robust sales pipeline.

Build Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, hospital administrators, and ASC decision-makers, to promote neuromonitoring as essential for patient safety and surgical success.

Consultative Selling: Understand the clinical and operational needs of clients, presenting tailored neuromonitoring solutions that enhance patient outcomes and comply with regulatory standards.

Close Sales: Negotiate contracts and service agreements with hospitals and ASCs, aligning with their budgetary and operational goals while meeting company revenue targets.

Educate and Train: Deliver product demonstrations, in-services, and training to surgical teams on the benefits and applications of neuromonitoring technology.
●
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in neuromonitoring to maintain a competitive edge and adapt sales strategies.

Collaborate Internally: Work with clinical support, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction post-sale.

Meet Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status in CRM systems.

Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at medical conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote services and generate leads.
Qualifications:
●
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field. Clinical background (e.g., RN, PA, or neurophysiology training) is a plus.

Experience:
● 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the medical field, ideally selling to surgeons, hospitals, or ASCs.
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive healthcare market.
● Experience in neuromonitoring, medical devices, or surgical services is highly desirable.

Skills:
● Strong understanding of spine and brain surgical procedures and the role of intraoperative neuromonitoring.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage clinical and administrative stakeholders.
● Ability to build trust and credibility with medical professionals through clinical knowledge and professionalism.
● Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Other Requirements:
● Willingness to travel regionally or nationally to meet clients and attend industry events.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
● Ability to work in operating room environments and comply with hospital credentialing requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $70,000 annually.
●
Commission Structure:
● 20% commission on the contribution margin above $1,200 for each surgical case, as determined by the company.
● For personal injury (PI) cases:
● $300 per case, paid net 30 after each case.
● Option for a higher percentage commission if the representative chooses to wait for lien settlement (which may take over two years).
●
Reimbursements:
● Mileage reimbursement at $0.30 per mile.
● Cell phone allowance up to $100 per month, reimbursed based on the actual cell phone bill (not to exceed $100/month).
●
Health Insurance: Company contributes 50% of the base plan for employees.
●
Retirement: No company-sponsored 401(k) plan at this time; however, employees may invest in a 401(k) through Insperity, our payroll service provider.

Meals & Entertainment: Employees will be reimbursed but can not spend more than $100 per person per meal.
