Job Title: Commercial Garage Door Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Garage Door Technician to service, repair, and install a wide range of commercial door and dock equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, punctual, and eager to grow within the company while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

● Service, repair, and install loading dock levelers, sectional overhead doors, rolling steel doors, and commercial high-speed doors.
● Confirm daily work orders with dispatch to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
● Retrieve products from suppliers and safely transport them to job sites.
● Inspect job sites for potential issues before installation or repair.
● Install products professionally and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met.
● Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism on job sites.
● Complete all required safety forms and follow safety procedures consistently.
● Work on ladders ranging from 8'–24', as well as scissor lifts and aerial platforms up to 40’.
● Remove and haul away old doors and openers in a safe and responsible manner.

Requirements

● 2–5 years of commercial overhead garage door experience preferred.
● Strong service orientation with excellent attention to detail.
● Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn and adapt.
● Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude required.
● Welding and torch cutting experience is a plus.
● Forklift proficiency required.
