Job Description: The Billing Specialist will be responsible for billing designated clients to maintain assigned clients’ regular billing cycles, utilizing multiple internal and external software systems/databases. They will be knowledgeable of client operating systems, contractual arrangements and relationship development. They will work closely with all other billing team members, paralegals and attorneys to bill clients timely and accurately, ensure we are paid timely, and resolve billing issues. Candidates must be professional, excellent communicators, and able to work closely with attorneys and senior managers. Primary Responsibilities include:● Timely coordination, review and processing of invoices● Accounts Receivable and collections● Ensure costs are billed properly and timely● Special reporting and projects● Audit support and occasional liaison with clients﻿The ideal candidate will have:● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal billing areas and/or related professional environments● Experience in client budget constraints and billing● Attention to detail and excellent organization and time management skills● Exceptional problem-solving skills, recognizing issues and taking initiative to resolve● Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced and frequently changing environment● Excellent verbal and written communication skills● Collections experience and strong customer interface skills
